I agree, not only for your reasons, but for some questionable projects the insatiable Facebook empire has been pursuing. Like:

• Internet.org, a “free” but limited ISP in the third world controlled by Facebook— see http://www.mintpressnews.com/mark-zuckerberg-cant-believe-india-isnt-grateful-for-facebooks-free-internet-2/212361/.
