Over the coming weeks, MyBit Go will be updated with new features from the MyBit v2 Development Roadmap. Today we are excited to share the first in a series of weekly releases— version 1.3.0.

New sections in the Asset Details page

New ‘About’, ‘Financials’, ‘Risks’ sections have been added to provide investors with more information about each investment scenario. Asset managers are now required to fill these fields out before their asset is listed.

Revamped Asset Manager section

The level of identity verification for asset managers has increased substantially. All asset listings now display the asset managers full name, along with verification status of their identity, email and phone number.

Additionally, the Asset Manager section now displays a track record of asset manager performance; including number of assets under management, time spent as a manager, and total revenue generated for investors. This information allows investors to more effectively gauge the reliability of asset managers, and gives asset mangers more ability to leverage their reputation when competing for investor trust.

New collateral standards

MYB denominated escrow has now been fully implemented into MyBit Go.

Additionally, collateral requirements have changed from an adjustable to a standardised percentage rate of asset value. This protects investors by providing strong monetary disincentives to fraudulent activity.

3Box integration

3Box is an open source data storage solution for web3 that allows end users to manage their public and private information on the decentralised web. It provides a new level of asset manager profile capability by storing the necessary data in a decentralised way.

More to come!

The team is working hard on getting MyBit Go v2 released as soon as possible. You can expect to see weekly updates until we reach the final release!

A big thank you to all the community members who provided feedback on how to improve MyBit Go. The team has listened and we’re excited to bring all the best improvements to life.
