Test Pilot Admits the F-35 Can’t Dogfight
War Is Boring

Another day, another anti-F-35 story. The F-35 was always intended to be an air-to-ground compliment to the F-22. F-35 critics should concentrate on Bush/Obama/Gates who slashed that program to the bone. It’s clear the F-35 has a sensory advantage and will be best able to defeat aerial foes with BVR missile shots. As a result, ROE that require visual IDs will have to go out the window and fraticide or unintended hits may result. The US will also be well advised to look into adapting a missile like Meteor that is faster and superior to the AIM-120.
