I was, I am, I will be. 

A tribute to William Shakespeare: 

Today I am known as,

The longest living dead man.

For although I’m long gone,

People have not forgotten me.

For in my words, I have lived and shall live.

I have met the hero’s of the world,

For I have been in the heart of Hamlet,

In the soul of Julius Caesar and

The spirit of Othello.

I have met the lovers of the world

Romeo and Juliet .

The beauties of the universe,

Desdemona, Portia and Calpurnia

Have been my life.

And today, I live in the hearts of my readers.

You cannot deny that

I am the greatest hero of all

And thou

Shall never forget me

For in my words, I live and shall live for eternity,

For

I AM SHAKESPEARE!
