Count it all joy when adversity comes your way. Many times we are learning the very skills we will need at the next level while going through struggle.
We may be tempted to despise struggle when it comes our way. Let’s face it, it’s tough going through adversity and pain. Who wants this?
What life has taught me is that those moments of strife are perfect growing opportunities. Those moments are when the lessons are most clear and the “course correction” is ever-present.
When you’re going through something, instead of wishing it away look for the lessons. Ask yourself, “What can I learn from this?” An even tougher question is, “How did I play a role in this?”
By taking ownership and looking for the lessons, you can come out on the other side a bigger and better person. A person that is more equipped to handle struggle in the future.
Count it all joy when difficulty comes your way. Your growth is on the other side of it.
