Sky’s Falling Part IV

This was a very enjoyable series. Your metaphors and descriptives take unique turns yet always arrive somewhere completely natural and tangible. Your tone is earthy and rich (like I suspect the South itself is) yet you cleverly meld this with the ethereal impishness of a child’s imagination. I never felt like I was being told where my own mind’s eye should wander; you have a natural affinity for “showing” with words in a sensual way rather than stating outright. This is a gift I feel I could learn from in regards to my own writing.
