The 90 Day Journey Through the Straight Shot Accelerator
We have 90 days to transform the Mommy Assistant business model into a company that helps families nationwide.
In today’s world, there is just not enough time or extra energy to spend on the necessary daily or weekly tasks like laundry, cooking meals, and cleaning. There are only so many hours in a day and most hours are devoted to family, careers, and various commitments that take precedence over doing household chores. Though these tasks seem simple, they are time-consuming and widely disliked. The solution: matching busy families with an assistant.
Welcome to Mommy Assistant. We are in the business of saving time, stress, and sanity through assisting busy families with household management tasks. We are a matching service that finds the best assistant for your family. Meal preparation, grocery shopping, housekeeping, and laundry are all services we provide by finding an assistant who is qualified to work with your family to solve these needs.
Let’s face it; we live in a society that is fixated on how many things a person can get done in a day and measures success through how “busy” a person is. Everyone could probably use another person’s help, so he or she can do the things that matter most every day.
Stephanie Feltus is the founder and director of Mommy Assistant. She recognized a need for household assistance after having her first child and has been committed to helping families ever since.
However, this is just the beginning for Mommy Assistant. Stephanie is participating in the Straight Shot accelerator out of Omaha, Nebraska, where Mommy Assistant was chosen among 7 other companies to spend 90 days collaborating with expert mentors, learning from an extensive entrepreneurship curriculum, and most importantly, transforming her business model into a technology company that will better serve busy families nationwide. We will be sharing our experience, the things we’ve learned, and Mommy Assistant’s overall progress. We hope you will follow our journey.
