My Salesforce Certification Journey from 0 to 24
I started my Salesforce journey in 2011. During that time, everyone was getting Dev 401 credentials. I was little bit hesitant in getting certified being new in Salesforce. In one of the meet, our VP asked how many people are certified, i was the only one who did not raise a hand. This was a sparking point.
In 2012 January, I got Dev 401 Certified. Same year, I completed Admin and Advanced Admin Certifications. In 2013 start, I completed Sales and Service Cloud Certifications as I was working on a call-centre implementation as well sales cloud solution. During this time, Salesforce only had 5 certifications, out of these, I already had 4.
I was silent in 2014 whole year, though cleared Pardot Certification in year end. In 2015, I cleared Developer I and App Builder. In 2016, I cleared Email Specialist and Community Cloud Consultant. In 2017, I cleared Dev II and MC Consultant. MC Consultant was a challenging one for me, I failed in first attempt, but made it in second one.
In 2018 start I had 14 Certifications, these didn’t include any architect certifications. I was afraid that I might fail in architect designer exams. I saw few folks on LinkedIn posting architect certification snaps post they cleared it. I challenged myself, If they can do, I can do it. I prepared a timeline, within that particular timeline i cleared all designer exams.
As of Today, I have 24 Salesforce Certifications on which I am proud. Continuous learning is the only key in today’s world.
In my next post, I will share how i prepared for all designer exams.
