Tony and Austin, did you find an easy way to do the Macros (time stamp, etc.)

I’ve never made a macro in Word. But it looks conceptually easy.

You’re just recording key strokes. But I bet it requires some trial and error. Conceptually it’s:

  • Go to the beginning of the current line.
  • Search forward for _
  • Delete the _. Probably just recording the delete key
  • Type x
  • Go to the end of the line
  • Insert timestamp

What makes that “hard” is that I don’t know the keyboard shortcuts for all of those off the top of my head. But if you can do those steps manually, then I’m pretty sure creating the Macro is just a matter of recording yourself doing those steps.
