Agreed. This is perhaps one of the least talked about, yet most important aspects of running a business. There is no need to be a jerk, but it’s just as important not to be a pushover. What I’ve learned is that I always am one of the first to get in line. I bill on the 1st and begin calling on the 3 rd. if I haven’t gotten my money by the 5th, I show up- but come hell is r high water I’m getting paid- and you should too: you must.
