《An exciting Work Season one》
“An exciting Work” has three seasons now in 2022. In the three seasons, the theme of the first and second seasons is lawyers, and the third season is forensics. Today I’m going to introduce the first season, the theme is “lawyer”.
This program mainly shoots young people who want to become lawyers, After being interviewed by a law firm, they recorded the process of entering the internship.
These 8 interns will go through different legal assignments and scoring systems. The 3 interns with the highest final scores can enter the actual class of this law firm.
There are a lot of different missions in the show, sometimes individual missions and sometimes collective ones. Tasks range from essential legal paperwork to complex evidence gathering.
One of the assignments that impressed me the most was “Legal Aid”. “Legal Aid” means that trainee lawyers will go to remote villages in China to help residents with legal advice and solve their problems.
It’s like they’re helping a cross-generational family. The grandfather supports the grandson alone, and the mother of the child rarely sends money home, so the grandfather hopes to get the money through their help.
But taking the legal route can become very bad for the relationship between the child and the mother. Therefore, the child’s grandfather does not want to take the law, especially since the child misses his mother very much, and there is a high chance that the legal way will affect the relationship between the child and the mother.
The final assignment of these trainee lawyers is a “moot court”. They would put on a lawyer’s robe and go to court. And divided into two groups, and then served as the defendant and the plaintiff respectively.
After watching this episode, I felt serious and nervous. Especially when I saw them wearing lawyer robes, I felt the sacredness of the profession of lawyers!
