In the first half of 2023, we experienced significant growth in our active user base. By July 2023, we had sold and distributed over 16 billion unique digital items through our top social apps, catering to users’ virtual characters and gacha outfits. To put it in perspective, this is enough to provide every person in the world (8.1 billion population) with two items, with some to spare.

Cocone’s digital mobile game apps offer 8,507 unique gacha themes, each a collection of virtual items that allow users to tailor their online spaces. This concept, inspired by Japan’s gachapon machines, provides a varied and personalized virtual experience for every user.

  • Pokecolo: Anchoring the virtual experience with a diverse array of 2,200 unique gacha themes and outfits.
  • ‘Livly Islandallows players to nurture and interact with their virtual pets, known as “Livlies.” Set on a customizable island, this app offers a unique experience where players can creatively shape their environment to reflect their personal style. To date, ‘Livly Island’ has featured an impressive collection of 209 gacha themes, adding depth and variety to the gameplay.
  • ‘My Little Doll,’ and ‘Hello Sweet Days’: are two notable apps that have partnered with esteemed brands like Disney and Sanrio. These collaborations have been a huge success, introducing a staggering 973 gacha themes in ‘My Little Doll’ and 569 in ‘Hello Sweet Days.’ These themes bring an added layer of excitement and charm to the games, allowing players to immerse themselves in worlds filled with familiar and beloved characters.

Generate Avatar and Gacha Items with AI

Our AI research team, Gnosis, has developed an AI tool known as ‘AI CoDA.’ Essentially, AI CoDA (AI Cocone Design Assistant) was created and used as an internal service to optimize the digital item creation process for hundreds of Cocone’s designers. Recently, AI CoDA has been also integrated directly into our consumer-facing applications, directly serving as a digital item and outfit generator for end-users of Cocone apps. Not only professional designers but users themselves can step into the role of a designer and craft their own items using AI.

The integration of AI CoDA began within our avatar social app, Hello Sweet Days (HSD), and Linco app. Users could submit their items as initial input, and AI, analyzing the color scheme and utilizing advanced algorithms, generates a diverse range of dress items and gacha outfits for them. This streamlined process not only adds an element of fun but also ensures efficient and unique customization of gacha clothes for our users.
