The Sound of Racing: Formula 1 Exhibition
3 April 2023
The first ever exhibition on Grand Prix racing and F1 — past, present and future — has now opened at IFEMA Madrid.
We were commissioned to create the entire exhibition sound, compose music, and consult on audio system design for the whole experience, capturing everything from the thrill of the race circuit to the high octane energy of the pit, we worked across every aspect of the audio-visual journey to recreate the excitement of motor-racing.
We enlisted Henry Greenleaf on sound design and one of our favourite drummers Marc Pell (Suitman Jungle / Mount Kimbie / Good Sad Happy Bad / Micachu & the Shapes) who collaborated with us on the soundtrack for the epic climax of the show, Pitwall Experience.
If you would like to check out more of the sound work we do, or want to contact us about a project, visit our website here.
The exhibition is on in Madrid until August and then goes on tour https://f1exhibition.com/
