The years 2020, and 2021 took the whole world by surprise! Of course, you would have heard these words, a dozen times. Undeniably? Staying indoors, and staying safe have become the new normal. But, you may need to test those lines, and go a little beyond — sometimes.

So, Coorg happened a few weeks ago. Out of the blue, we decided to travel from Bangalore to Coorg. And, here is my story!

Why Coorg?

First things first, why did we choose Coorg. If you are living in Bangalore, you’d be aware of the fact that we have a couple of go-to places for the weekend. For someone who is truly looking for a classic destination, which is located at the heart of the mountains — Coorg would be the right choice. The place is green, the place is calm, and the place is absolutely a safe haven for anyone travelling within Karnataka.

The whole journey was blissful. If you have a little one, like me, you should consider take a quick stop at Mysore. For someone who is absolutely apprehensive about the current situation — we packed our breakfast. Hot steaming Idlis, which were enjoyed at the gates of Mysore. Then, we headed to the Mysore Zoo. After spending a quality hour at the Mysore Zoo, we started our adventurous ride into the Ghats. The road was curvy, and a bliss to drive in.
