Code Pilot — Weekly Update: 2018.09.04
Sep 4, 2018 · 2 min read
Highlights

- We have a new intern starting to manage our social media and assist in scaling our outreach and content marketing.
- 2nd week in a row of improved conversions of LinkedIn, GitHub, and the Code Pilot Kays assessment!
Lowlights
- Our Code Pilot shirt giveaway to encourage candidates to build-out their portfolio underperformed.
We are taking a more targeted approach explaining specific tiles/integrations and their value to entice conversion as opposed to a boarder “build-out your profile” message
Pipeline/Metrics
- 964 portfolio profiles with new users signing up every hour

- 59.9% (+2.8%) of our users integrate their LinkedIn account
- 38.3% (+.1%) of our users integrate their GitHub account
- 19.5% (+2.3%) have completed the Kays assessment (approx. ten min)
Product
Data Science Platform that matches hiring partners and technical talent
- Integrated our Full-stack Code Assessment into Portfolio STAGE
Users will now be able to spin up an assessment from their Profile and have the telemetry recorded automatically onto their Portfolio

Other
- Initiated paid postings on several digital platforms targeting the Austin market with the goals to increase conversion and test which sites have the deepest cut through. #ForWhenWePourOnTheGas
- Marketing animation is almost complete!
Help
Please introduce us to major platforms that would be beneficial to integrate with (i.e. Stack Overflow, Kaggle, Bitbucket, Coursera, LinkedIn)
We are looking to have more conversations with industry experts and researchers in:
- Subjective/unconscious bias
- Disruptive HR practices
- Future of Work
- Long-term engagement (years) in 2-sided marketplaces
If there’s anyone else in your network that should get these updates, please let us know.
