CODING HACKATHON & EXPO PROGRAMME - TRINITY INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OFADA

As our usual tradition at CodesFest, we are always seeking to discover outstanding 'Young Innovators' displaying high level of technological knowledge whilst Coding has become a major skill of the information age, incubating and nurturing them into problem solvers at their young age.

On Friday, 19th March, Codefest Hackathon and Expo was hosted by Trinity College, offada, Ogun State. This was an extension of the Coding Bootcamp program managed by Codefest International over the 2nd Term (Jan - March, 2021)

It was a prerequisite for a successful completion the coding bootcamp of students in Basic 9 and SS1 in Animation for the former and Game Development for the latter, the hackthon competition was set and students were divided into groups as we seek to uncover the major 21st century skills (Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Confidence) through STEM education.

3 groups consisting of 5 members were selected winners from both the junior class and the senior class. Each student were further awarded for their level of creativity and team work been displayed.

There are no limits and we hope to further incubate some of the outstanding projects displayed as we look out for 100 innovators in the College.

Kudos on this major event to discover and celebrate innovation by Codefest and the College management.
