Struggling to hire developers?

Finding quality software development talent can be a struggle. In 2014, we set out to remedy this problem through a Workforce Innovation Fund grant from the US Department of Labor.

Since our first grant-funded session launched in May 2015, we’ve had over 400 unique graduates from the program who have completed coursework on topics such as Front End Web Development, Full Stack JavaScript, C#/.NET, PHP, Ruby on Rails and mobile development. Graduates complete one or more 12-week sessions which include coursework through the Treehouse online learning platform, create a project relevant to their studies, and attend at least two tech events in the area.

Code Louisville graduates hail from diverse backgrounds, with transferable skills that will set them apart in the job market. They’re self-starters with great time management skills who have taken the initiative to learn software development on top of their already busy lives.

Our graduates are eager to enter the technology industry, and some have already been hired full time in roles as junior developers, QA analysts, business analysts, project managers, marketing managers, tech writers, and more.

Let us help you find the next great developer to add to your team! Visit codelouisville.org/hire for more details.
