CodeRGV Summer Drone Camps!

CodeRGV and the Weslaco Economic Development Corporation are proud to be hosting a series of drone camps June through August at the Weslaco EDC Offices! These drone camps are FREE to any Weslaco student (Weslaco ISD, Weslaco IDEA, etc) and will cost $100 for any other student!

Who is This For?

The course is designed for students entering high-school or 2017 graduating seniors. Each 3-week course will provide a morning and an afternoon session.

Register today for a great Summer experience that will teach you all about aeronautics, flight, and drones while giving you job skills to help local businesses take advantage of Unmanned Aerial System technologies!

What Will They Learn?

Students will learn about what makes a drone and what makes it fly. They will learn how to fly drones using standard controls as well as how to program a drone to fly and capture data!
