Learning EE Fundamentals

Key to building one of the things I have in my vision are tons of Arduino’s in place. Being a noob, one of the issues I have with the current Arduino is the lack of a built-in wireless module, and you will have to purchase a separate one that costs anywhere around $5 to $40+. All of these is new to me, and so I don’t want to spend a lot of time doing what people have perfected for a long time.

Enter Wino.

Which, I guess, stands for Wireless Arduino.

Wino board — the tiny 10€ Arduino with built-in WiFi

I decided to check Kickstarter for cool stuff and I came across their campaign with around 17 hours left. I knew I wanted it, so I immediately pledged. I hope they deliver.

The Wino board is a small, Arduino compatible microcontroller gadget with built-in WiFi for only 10€. It´s easy to program and you can use it to connect it to almost any electronic device.

I knew I wanted it, so I immediately pledged. I hope they deliver.

I had tons to read up on, and it took up my entire weekend already. Prior to finding this project, I had already pre-enrolled in two coursera courses but it looks like I’ll be doing a lot of studying even before January when the courses start.

I’m really stoked that I’m slowly starting to execute one of my long time visions.
