The Reason For Programming Languages

So… I have come to realize that programming is a concept developed by humans for one goal, to communicate with machines.

Before the advent of the calculator, we have other calculating techniques such as abacus and the rest.

Digging further backward. The early ages of industrialization were based on mechanical technology and electronics such as television sets, radios, fan and sewing machines, tractors, heaving, and heavy-duty trucks — respectively.

But the calculator brought game game-changing effect to the world. We can now have both mechanisms and electronics work simultaneously. And this is the beginning of the computer age.

Back to programming. Just as language is used to represent the things and interactivity around us, programming is also a medium in which engineers can communicate with machines — through its electronic component.
