History Made

The Democratic Nation Convention made history with the formal nomination of Hillary Clinton for President of The United States. Yes, I know, Victoria Claflin Woodhull was technically the first woman to run; however, raise your hand if you think Mrs. Woodhull stood a chance… I didn’t think so. Moreover, Hillary is the first woman to be nominated by a major party for the position of president. Hillary Clinton is also the first woman to actually have a chance of winning the presidential election. Any attempt to discredit such a historical achievement is an attempt to willfully ignore history.

Women everywhere in the United States of America now know that it is possible to have a chance at the highest office in the land. Keep breaking those glass ceilings, ladies.
