Using The Free Look Camera
Using the free-look camera is very similar to the orbital camera, but in this format, you have a lot more control over different aspects of your camera.
To access the free look camera, head to Cinemachine and add a free look cam instead of a virtual cam.
Now that we have our camera, we can add our capsule as our follow and lookat.
From here, we have access to all three levels of the free-look camera, ranging from the top, middle, and bottom rig.
From these settings, we can adjust all rigs separately using the aim and body setting as we would a regular virtual camera, but what makes this a little different is the radius and height setting, allowing us to adjust each rig’s overall position.
When we make these adjustments, we can see the differences in the overall view of each level of our camera rigs.
