Interesting article, Katya. I like the idea of a nutrition label for the media as a way of identifying what you’re getting yourself into — just like food. There’s also an argument to be made that curated content (ie. personalize your newspaper) is just as irresponsible as the other things you mentioned, as it doesn’t allow us to consider opposing views, it merely serves to allow us to roll around in our own filth. In hindsight, I appreciated sitting at the breakfast table with a couple of newspapers and consuming all the points of view.
