Another great article Benjamin, but I’m not sure I agree with “disregarding your emotions.” Part of the problem is that avoidance of these uncomfortable emotions is so habitual or strong, that we are not even aware of what emotions we are avoiding. Another approach is that when you start to feel resistance is to get curious about it. Why am I resisting working towards my goal? What am I feeling? Where is that feeling coming from? Acknowledge the feeling, let it wash over you. When you do that, the feeling dissipates. Then, you can walk through the feeling to get on with accomplishing your tasks.
