During the Cofound.it pre-sale, which starts on Sunday, June 4 at 5PM CET / 11AM EST, you will only be able to contribute if you’ve applied for a Cofound.it Priority Pass™ in advance. Transactions from ETH wallets not on the Priority Pass list will be rejected. Make sure to contribute from your own ETH wallet you registered with, do not use an exchange or your CFI tokens might be lost.

The public crowdsale will open on Wednesday, June 7 at 5PM CET / 11AM EST. The crowdsale will end either by July 5 or when the $12.5M (56,565 ETH) cap is reached.

If you’re a Priority Pass member, go to the following page to read and accept the crowdsale contribution terms:

https://priority.cofound.it/

After accepting the terms, you will be shown the crowdsale contribution address. Do not trust any other contribution address you see on other channels. The Cofound.it team will NEVER share the address directly with you, so make sure to only use the address you see on the priority contribution website!

You can become a Cofound.it supporter by sending the desired amount of ETH plus some gas to process the transaction (we recommend 400 000) to the contribution address shown on the contribution website. Don’t try to type the address, copy-paste it into your ETH wallet. We recommend you check the address avatar and the first and last few letters to double-check that you’ve entered the right address before confirming your contribution.

Sending the contribution using MyEtherWallet

If you use MyEtherWallet, you can start a new transaction by going to the “Send Ether & Tokens” tab. You will need to unlock your wallet first: select the “Keystore File (UTC / JSON)” option, choose your locally saved keystore wallet file, enter your password, and click on the “Unlock” button that appears.

Click on the Send Ether & Tokens tab and Unlock your wallet.

Once your wallet is unlocked, copy-paste the Cofound.it crowdsale ETH address you see on the priority contribution page into the “To Address” field on the Send Transaction page on MyEtherWallet. As you copy-paste the address, the address avatar on the right will update, so check that it matches the picture you see on the website and in the image below. In the “Amount to Send” field, enter the amount of ETH you want to contribute. In the “Gas Limit” field enter 400 000 gas (that is a small fee needed by the Ethereum network to process your transaction; any excess gas will be refunded).

Copy-paste and double-check the crowdsale address, input the amount of ETH you want to contribute, and set Gas Limit to 400 000.

Once you double-check the address and amount, click on the “Generate Transaction” button to generate the transaction code, and confirm it by clicking on the “Send Transaction” button that appears below the “Raw Transaction” and “Signed Transaction” fields.

Congratulations, once your transaction is processed, you will become a Cofound.it supporter!

Checking your transaction

You can use a service like Etherscan to check your wallet’s transaction history. On MyEtherWallet, you can find a shortcut link to your Etherscan page under the “Transaction History” section, which is shown after you unlock your wallet to view its info or send transactions.

Click on the Etherscan link under your wallet’s Transaction History to see the status of your transactions.

If your transaction is successful, you will receive your CFI tokens into your wallet automatically soon after the crowdsale ends — we’ll send you an email when that happens. If you use MyEtherWallet, CFI tokens will appear in the “Token Balances” section. In the meantime, just make sure to keep your private key, keystore file and password safe and backed up, so you don’t lose access to your wallet.
