Anti depressants to my hostel anxieties

It was another dull day, the kind on which the very air seems heavy and you feel like doing nothing. My room’s walls were covered by sticky notes highlighting assignments, placement formalities, homesickness, and all sort of other stress giving stuffs. There I was lying on the bed when received a text from my pal, Payal- “No dinner at mess today! Don’t feel like going out.” I called her over to my room only to find a serious, anxious and mood-swingy Payal at my door.

“Let’s order something, I’m dying of hunger. I suggested.” But then her stomach wasn’t really well enough to take on restaurant food. We wanted home cooked food. Sometimes you just want your soul to breathe and act, wishing I could cook, but the thought of going out to buy stuff for cooking defeats the whole point!

“I wish we could get the ingredients home-delivered,” Payal said with big eyes.

Great! I suddenly remembered ‘Cofoz suggested to me by one of my friends. I had downloaded the app on his suggestion but had forgotten about it!

Cofoz to the rescue, I fished up the menu and ordered ‘Mushroom Matar masala’ (one of my favourites) and ‘Smoked Baigan Bharta’ (Payal’s choice). Everything was lying in front of us- all the ingredients that were required. Hurried we borrowed my neighbours induction and oh man, cooking in the room with friends is so much fun! The essence of food slowly drowned our anxieties, and the stress lining over our heads melted too, leaving behind a smile of Cofoz kitchen around our cheeks.

Yay! I flaunted my cooking skills; of course the directions card Cofoz sent with its fresh ingredients makes things so simple that even novices like us could cook! Ended up with an aromatic dish that caused many a mouths to water, yum! Here my neighbour wanted a share. I called her over too, and had the yummy food with my extended family. We stuffed ourselves like long starved disaster victims. By the end of it we were so happy that we felt good enough like a winner of MasterChef. Yeah, we felt like qualified chefs now!

Amazing, fresh and self-made food, with the ingredients delivered by Cofoz.
