Printable World Cup Magnets for Kids
I mean, every kid needs to know what a bracket is, right?
NOTE: These templates are for personal, educational purposes only.
My oldest daughter is three, which means she’s probably going to be forming her first lifelong memory sometime this year. And the World Cup is this month, so that memory is probably going to be of me leaping off the couch, screaming like a pouncing puma as Roberto Firmino comes off the bench to bag the winner for Brazil in the final. At least that’s what I imagine, which is why I’ve gone and made some printable World Cup magnets to convert our fridge into a DIY Russia 2018 bracket for our girls to play with for the next 5 weeks.
Here’s how to use them:
- Download the templates (6 pages total).
- Get yourself some printable magnet sheets (I recommend at least 6 😏).
- Print, cut and weep with joy when your toddler yells “Pogba!” at your TV.
They include flags for all 32 teams, the 8 highest-profile players at the tournament, and the letters A-H (because group play will TOTALLY make sense to a kindergartener), and they look like this:
So if you’re a huge nerd like me and want to use this tournament to teach the next generation some important life lessons like a) France is a completely different country and pretty much magical, b) Messi is and always will be better than Ronaldo, or c) England is guaranteed to lose any penalty shootout, enjoy!
And if you’re as ridiculous as me and end up actually using these for anything, I’d love to hear about it. Hit me on Twitter @colesletten.
AGAIN: These templates are for personal, educational purposes only, obviously. I mean, come on, it’s Ronaldo, rights for that image would cost more than my car.
