Why Hiring is So Hard in Tech

Depressing. I understand where this writer is coming from but I hope this is not the consensus when looking at applicants for entry level positions. When I graduated, I decided to travel to India and Nepal. I’m confident I learned more there than any internship could have taught me, yet I now find myself lacking anything to show on a resume.

I had a few very good projects throughout school, yet those have been continually “developed” by “teammates” who do not display the level of work that I would want to advertise (if you catch my drift).

Anyway, I know find myself with a great skill set, yet no “proof” and no time to build said proof (developing while working full time in an unrelated field isn’t exactly easy). Any recruiters out there looking for a good candidate hit up my linkedin!
