The Road To Infinity — Giving Up Booze And Finding The Universe

Nearly three years ago, I accepted that I was an alcoholic and stopped drinking. Since then I’ve been on a journey that has seen me change irrevocably and discover things about myself that have delighted and scared me in equal measure. This is my story.

To start with, I only wrote it down for cathartic reasons really. Ultimately I decided to publish it on here because I didn’t really know what else to do with it. Also, other people being honest enough to share their experiences helped me. It warms me to think that this could perhaps help someone else who is struggling. I’ve split it up into, what I see as, digestible chunks. Nobody wants to read War and Peace on a screen, right? I hope that you find something in it….
