An Evolution of Layer Alignments

Bundling layer alignments has always been a tedious task.
Adobe accomplished huge steps when they introduced quick alignment options. But users are forced to select multiple layers to align to one another.

Sketch’s introduction with the ability to align a single layer or a bundle of layers to the art board vs. specific layers with a single layer or group selected was the next big step.

The most recent leap I’m excited about has come with the release of Framer’s parent-child alignment hierarchy featured in their recently released design mode.

This feature makes sense for Framer when switching to code, since elements are inherently embedded into their background containers. But is this a feature Sketch will soon adopt?
