Colizeum: the key to the world of crypto gaming in the hands of game developers

With all the major development happening in the world of crypto gaming, it’s crucial to stay informed and recognize projects with the biggest potential for your mobile game development company. One of such is Colizeum — the key to swiftly unlocking new monetization opportunities for mobile game developers everywhere.
What does it accomplish
Colizeum is a set of blockchain tools for mobile game developers to implement tokenized game modes and a Play-To-Earn economy. This set of tools will allow mobile game developers to broaden their monetization options, combining traditional monetization methods with the new possibilities provided by blockchain technology. The usual methods of in-app purchases and advertisements in games bring in revenue, however, can’t effectively reach all markets. Additionally, it’s expensive: the average cost of acquiring a user who will make an in-app purchase is $86.72 on Android and $77.45 on iOS platforms, with an expected conversion rate for gaming apps around 1.6%-2%, while the average cost per install comes to $1.42[1]. Another aspect of in-app purchases is the host store charging a fee for every purchase made, leaving the developer with less earnings.[2]
New monetization opportunities for mobile game developers
Colizeum will provide an extra opportunity with the implementation of Play-To-Earn economy that can and should coexist with the traditional monetization modes. Not only does it unlock previously non-monetizable Tier 3 markets by allowing the players to earn, but it also allows attention monetization and lets developers reward their players for said attention as they choose. Colizeum doesn’t charge for in-game transactions, but instead rewards the developers and players for their attention in the tokenized ecosystem of the solution.
Jumping head-first into a new technology independently may be frightening — understandably, not every company has the time, money, or experience to assess all the risks and factors that come into play when it comes to crypto gaming. The benefit of Colizeum’s SDK (Software Development Kit) in this instance is the fact that the enormous research and development is being done by a strong team of professionals with 8+ years of experience in gaming so that those using the SDK can enter the market seamlessly and much faster than if they started from scratch. Another crucial component is promoting and advertising the game mode, which is significantly easier through the SDK developer’s network.

Development updates
Colizeum’s team of 35+ game developers with more than 8 years of experience, and a strong team of blockchain developers have conducted heaps of research in the last months regarding the SDK behind the scenes. A project of this scale requires significant time and effort to research and develop, and the work done so far is already enormous. The team is continuing to work on the SDK, mastering the rapidly growing industry of crypto gaming and making the best of it along the way.
The first big step in the SDK development has been the research and vision on the general functionality of the platform. The team has begun developing a microservices-based system, and staking functionality is already in progress. Currently, the team is working on the minting functionality in the SDK.
The network of choice for Colizeum is Binance Smart Chain or BSC. The choice towards BSC has been made mainly due to the vast and powerful community behind it, but it’s important to note that this is only a starting point. The goal of Colizeum is to become cross-chain and ensure full-on interoperability, with BSC serving as a strong starting point with firm security in place.
Fundraising updates
Colizeum is currently one step away from closing the third fundraising round, with strong strategic partners on board. The interest in the Colizeum project is high, so the team conducted a thorough evaluation process for investors, choosing those that can provide the best value to the project. As the fundraising is yet to be closed, a bigger and more thorough update will be coming in the near future describing the results of this venture.
“Tokenomik views Colizeum as an excellent proxy exposure to the vast NFT/ play-to-earn gaming multiverse segment, which continues to expand exponentially, making it increasingly difficult to identify long term popular gaming platforms.
Colizeum, through its blockchain centric game development toolset, represents an excellent macro-level opportunity, with its class-leading modular game building tools, which has already attracted some of the best-in-breed developers to the ecosystem.
We are delighted to be an early collaborator in this fantastic project, founded by an experienced leadership and development team.”
Michael Swan, Managing Director Tokenomic Ink.
New CEO
Additionally, Colizeum is proud to announce a new CEO — Kaspars Kukelis. Kaspars is a Harvard Business School graduate and has a strong tech background in the telecommunication industry, including being the CEO and Board Member of KCELL / Kazakhtelecom where he led the company to listing on the London Stock Exchange. Kaspars has a strong entrepreneurial record founding, growing, and selling the biggest advertising and media company in Central Asia. A powerful and experienced CEO like Kaspars will definitely help the project to reach vast success, uniting his solid tech and entrepreneurial background with the team’s knowledge and expertise.
What’s next, when is IDO?
As for the things to come, the next big day for Colizeum after opening the communities on 28th December is..
.. Colizeum IDO, confirmed to take place on February 28, 2022.
The first public Beta SDK will be released in Q2, 2022, and the Colizeum marketplace being introduced into the world in Q3, 2022. As much work as has been done so far, this is only the beginning, and there is much more thrilling news to come soon.
“I played and spent on online games since elementary school, and I spent a lot — I’m now also seeking ones that I will be willing to play on the blockchain, and the team at Colizeum is planned for that. As countless gamefi projects surged in the industry, rarely do we see promising teams capable of executing the next-stage innovations. For the future, it requires a composition of knowledge, know-how, passions, and a grasp of the cultures in crypto and gaming, and we believe we have identified those in Colizeum.”
Wayne Lin, Founder of AXIA8 Ventures
About Colizeum
Colizeum is an SDK — a frictionless shortcut for mobile game developers to implement tokenized game modes and Play-To-Earn economy without prior knowledge in blockchain development. Game developers will be able to add tokenized game mode monetization on top of their existing (traditional) monetization or build blockchain native games.
Colizeum is planning to have their own games to be the first games on Colizeum ecosystem in order to test all SDK features and economy before we offer this solution to 3rd-party developers.
At the same time — Colizeum is already having negotiations with multiple major league mobile game developers who are willing to join and start testing the SDK.
Having 8+ years of experience in game development — Colizeum team know the main pain points for the game developers. Blockchain has come as a blessing — game developers can finally monetize Tier 3 markets while still being listed on traditional mobile app stores.
Mobile game developers implement Colizeum SDK which takes a couple of days (depending on each game’s complexity) and the game developer can start building blockchain based game modes and implement a true Play-To-Earn economy.
Game developers will be able to add blockchain monetization layers on top of the traditional monetization (in-app ads, in-app purchases). But of course, game developers can build blockchain only for games and even metaverses.
We have built not only the tech (SDK) but also a unified economy — this allows game developers to focus only on their game and they don’t need to worry about the monetization part.
