Resolutions 2014

How to keep your resolutions long enough in 2014 to make them happen! 


2014 is here and a lot of people when out partying last night and that is fine but now realize that we are in 2014 and everything that you thought about for the last couple weeks as resolutions or things to change is here!

First and foremost i must start by saying I am no one to tell you what to do or how to do it but i want to give some advice on how to keep your resolutions long enough so they actullaly stay in your life and maybe change your course of life! If you read this blog right now and you haven't make a list of your new resolutions or old resolutions that you haven't keep its time to do it NOW! If you don't do it, someone else will and you will be in his plan on how to make that resolution happen for him or her! (Probably your boss) And please have a open mind to my ideas or suggestions, why? Because most people dont have what they want so that means that what you've done in the past to change or keep your resolutions didnt work out your way so YOU must change first to have something new!

A lot of people when they make resolutions they will keep them the first couple weeks of January… and then February comes and its a whole different story and the routine is back and a lot of resolutions are long gone! Why do people sign up January 1st to the gym and February or March they make excuses and its gone! EXCUSES! That is my first advice! STOP making EXCUSES! It all start with one excuses, if one day you make ONE excuses on why your not going to the gym or not eat the right things or to buy that piece of clothe. It all start with ONE! If your excuse is time think about this… Oprah has 24hours in a day, Bill gates too, Lebron James also, we all have 24 hours in a day! Its how you manage YOUR time and who you spend your time with that will determine your future! So stop making excuses about some little details that don't even matter! If you've decide thats what you wanna change and accomplish, stick to it and don't make excuses!!

When you stop making excuses a lot of resolutions will stay in place but you know that it takes 21 days for the human brain to create a habit right? YES 21 days! Here is my law that you must apply to YOUR life if you want some change to happen! Its call the 21/90 law. Yes the 21/90 law! Here is how the law works; it takes 21 days to create a habit and it takes 90 days to see some result from the habit that you just created. Let me explain. When you do something long enough your brain and your body will register as something natural to do; a Habit. When you create a habit you've got it! Your on the right path! So do something 21 days in a row, stick to it and make your brain and body register everything so after you do it naturally! And here is how the 90 days works. You will see result from that habit 90 days from now!! Dont expect some results the 22nd day! It wont show up! Do you know really think that results would show up on 22nd day! Of course not! 90 daw law is always working on what ever your doing… If you start to train hard at the gym you will see result 90 days from now… if you eat the right things for your body you will see 90 days from now… if you take care of your finance and your saving money you will see a difference 90 days from now… Its always been like that and it will always be! Results wont show up overnight so understand the 21/90 law and apply it to your resolutions!

Last and the most important one; DONT QUIT!! Must people quit on everything! You wanna proof has your reading this blog your thinking about all the resolutions you had on January 1st 2013 and that are all long gone! Must people quit on everything and its normal because life gets in the way! But this time! 2014 is YOUR year. Don't quit!!! You have to stick long enough to your resolutions so you can see a change in your life! If your not satisfied of where you are right now in your life you need to CHANGE! You, yourself first and don't you ever quit on your resolutions to make your life better! Quitters never win, Winners never quit! Take a picture of you or your goal or what ever you really want and keep it with you everywhere. So when its difficult and your on the edge of quitting you can look at that picture and remember why your doing all this! My mentor always told me; Colo when your on the edge of quitting, when your tired of everything and you wanna give up thats where you need to push the hardest and your gonna experience the best results!
