Your comment made me think… of course I’ve heard “garbage in garbage out”, and I like the expansion of meaning from “shell command fills screen with bugged out data” and “internet fills our lives with, well, bugged out data”, but I want to make one amendment to “input of the internet is raw human nature” — we’ve only been inputting words and occasional photographs. I think there’s more to humans than language and vision. There’s touch and empathy, which the internet will likely never get around to reproducing.

I figure the antidote to filling our lives with technology will probably be expecting less from it.
