“Think with a pure heart”.

I had this phrase show up during one of the recent AtmaTrips. I felt it’s important, but couldn’t make sense of it at first.

I tried to dissect it:

Think + With + a Pure Heart

Thinking, as in the process we do with the mind. But, with the pure heart, instead. Hm…

Then, its depth started to unfold:

You know how we do the heart coherence process, when we breathe all the way to and from the heart. I’ve been shown before, how this sort of practice reconnects one to their center. I’ve also known to “fill” the whole body and the space around with this heart-centered energy through breathing, to harmonize the within and the without. (Hence, this is the practice I guide participants through on the weekly AtmaSatsang sessions.)

That centering breathing practice connects us to the pure state of heart.

A clear strong connection between the brain and the heart, the mind and the inner self create a complete alignment in exchange of the known and the unknown, the understanding and feeling, the knowing and being — when one feeds another and vice versa.

I remembered, that the heart is able to send messages to the brain, that it not only understands, but also obeys. Heart has its own type of logic, memory and it sends way more information to the brain, than the other way round.(1)

Besides, the heart’s magnetic field is the strongest rhythmic field produced by the human body, transmitting our emotional information into the environment and reading that of others the same way. (2)Meaning, this is our direct and vast way of communication with Everyone and Everything.

The information continued to unfold further:

Now, we can take it up a notch!

During this “heart breathing”, see yourself connecting the heart with the mind, creating a direct communication channel between them. This way, the pure heart, our connection to our true essence and the Source, starts feeding the mind and the thought processes on a more conscious level and with the pure information.

Why is this important?

Because it’s the mind that is limited in the known and the finite reality. The heart is connected to the vastness of Everything, to the reality of infinite possibilities and the present, at the same time.

Therefore,it is by thinking with the pure heart, that we widen our conscious awareness of what Is.

It is by thinking with the pure heart, that we raise our state from the levels of fear and anxiety, and enter the states of love, joy, peace and awareness.

It is by thinking with the pure heart, that we become truly connected to our complete “I”, see the bigger picture and trust life.

And it is by being connected to our own “I”, that we become aware of our true passions and desires.

It is by thinking with the pure heart, that we get to follow our joy in life, feel happy and let everything align in the most harmonious way for us.

See the bigger picture, get to know your “I’s” true essence and be happy in the now. To support this Mind-Heart alignment practice and raise conscious awareness, join the weekly AtmaSatsang sessions today.
