Life on a Rock is the fifteenth studio album by American country music artist Kenny Chesney, released on April 30, 2013 via Blue Chair and Columbia Records. Chesney co-wrote eight of the album’s ten tracks and co-produced the album with Buddy Cannon. It was recorded in Los Angeles, Hawaii, Jamaica, Key West, London and Nashville. The album includes the singles “Pirate Flag” and “When I See This Bar”.

With 14 gold records and 30 top ten hits under his belt buckle, Kenny Chesney is one of the hottest country acts of our time. While in college, Kenny joined a band. This is when he began writing his own music and songs. After he graduated, he went to Nashville with hopes of starting a career in music. It took awhile, but in 1996 his song “Me and You” was released and went gold. By 2000, he was at the top of his game. He had a serious fan base and had become a true star. With the release of his album, “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem” in 2002, he was able to complete his first successful tour. Since then, he continues to tour every summer. Sporting his signature cowboy hat, and singing songs in his sultry country voice, getting a ticket to his concert can prove to be difficult. His shows often sell out thanks to his dedicated fan base. In 2010, Kenny headlined the BamaJama Festival. This is a music festival in Alabama that supports music and the arts. He was joined by Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, Jason Aldean and Kid Rock. He has done many duets with great artists; Reba McEntire and George Strait. One of his most popular duets, sung with Uncle Kracker, gives you an insight on how Kenny lives his life. The music video is fun and shows Kenny’s love for the beach and living a relaxed lifestyle.
