Hope is a dangerous thing…

We all want to be successful, we all dream of being successful. We all HOPE of being successful.

But what does it really mean to hope for something?

I’ll tell you what hope is. Hope is the thought of wanting something to happen but not being prepared to do what is needed to be done to get it.

People say “I hope to become a millionaire” or “I hope to get the promotion”. But the problem is people who say these things are putting their trust in an untrustworthy idea.

You can’t trust in something that can’t be quantified. Are you more hopeful than me? We will never know, there is no way of measuring an individuals level of hope. Meaning nothing can be awarded because they are hopeful for it.

You will get nothing if you are just being hopeful!

Work, work and work! Work your ass off so hope becomes facts. Work so hard that you can quantify hope, you quantify the facts of your success. Once you’ve done this then you can say you hoped.

You hoped to the point of not hoping.

Give up on hope!

Make it fact!

Make your hopes your facts!

And, yes I know I quoted The Shawshank Redemption…
