This Sunday, all eyes will be glued to the 92nd Academy Awards as the stars of the silver screen dress to the nines and take to the red carpet. Last year’s show averaged 29.6 million viewers — but I can say with 100% certainty that I know one person who will not be tuning it to check out “Hollywood’s biggest night”… me.

I despise The Oscars like vampires despise sunlight.

Like MiLB Front Offices hate rain delays.

Like Cyclones fans on social media loathe when we post photos of hot dogs with ketchup on them.

To me, there is nothing worse than The Oscars. They are long, they are boring and, frankly, they are rewarding the wrong movies. Be honest with yourself, how many of the Best Picture nominated films have you actually heard of — yet alone seen. Maybe a handful? …
