A lot of what you talk about I think is intentional friction designed to stop Medium from becoming the dumping ground of opinion that Twitter has become. They don’t want it to become a social network so they hide a lot of comments on articles, interaction between users, etc Medium is set up by the same people as Twitter. And given Twitter has provided us with with Trump, I’d like to think they’ve learned their lesson. yeah they shud prob fix the video stuff.
