LIVE FOR “TODAY"

Why do we dare borrow tomorrow’s sorrow
and let it stifle the peace and quiet of today?
Why can’t we just chill with the thrill of today
and care less about the worry of yet another day,
even before it makes an entry in some way?

Life is short and with uncertainty too, it’s fraught.
Yet like a flower that delights a gaping mouth,
it lets out its fragrance, even without a shout!
So why must we cry about an unseen tomorrow,
when we can be thankful for our gift of “Today”?
