Mediation is a controlled negotiation process carried out by a third party, known as a mediator, to resolve any kinds of disputes between two people or groups, the third party is neutral that does not work on the behalf of any of the two groups. These mediators are specifically qualified and trained to carry out this process, however the training may or may not be same in two mediation companies.
The mediators use negotiation techniques and conduct meetings where a specialized communication is organized between the parties with disagreements. Though, it includes various steps designed to bring the people in clashes at a mutual agreement, it is not as formal as the court cases and legal proceedings. The mediator does not take the side of any party like the advocates in the courts, neither they give any orders like judges. They just suggest all the possible ways by which a problem can be resolved and that are equally beneficial for both the disputed people, but the final decision is taken by the disputed parties only with which they are mutually agreed without any kind of a pressure. -Construction companies: when there are conflicts between two companies or constructors over an incomplete project, payment or any other issue. An arbitrator can help to bring the two parties to a mutual decision that is beneficial for both of them.
-Family: mediators possess the techniques that can easily resolve the quarrel between family members such as property issues between siblings, child custody issues between spouses, divorce related situations etc.
