I like the idea of your cookie. Comedy sells to consumers really well and I think it was a great idea to go with an issue that has so frequently popped up in the media, one that everyone knows about. Also, the form of your cookie was instantly recognizable, so good job keeping those cookies in their gorilla shape! It was a creative idea to trace a print out image with a knife.

I wish the cookies had more taste. When I tasted your cookies all I could taste was faintly burned coffee. Maybe more banana and flour could have been added, but I’m not sure if that would have kept the consistency of gingerbread cookies that you wanted.

What if you tried more ideas of flavor next time rather than just sticking with the breakfast flavor ideas right away? I would have appreciated something like a banana, coffee, shortbread cookie. You could have taken this in many different directions.

Overall, your idea blew me away to make your cookie Harambe inspired and really made me laugh! Way to go!
