Silverline at Silver IT Fest 2015

Over the weekend of 3 and 4 October 2015, we participated in the Silver IT Fest, organized by Infocomm Development Authority (IDA). It is an annual event aimed at educating Older Adults on the latest Infocomm lifestyle trends and products. Opened to public, Older Adults had the chance to attend seminars, exhibitions and hands-on IT workshops at the Silver IT Fest.

Close to 3,000 Older Adults were present at this 2-day event and we were moved by their enthusiasm. Their desire to continue learning about technology is admirable, with many of them eager to download our apps on the spot to try at home. One of them even told us that he constantly keeps himself updated on technology because he does not want to be a “dinosaur”.

This event was a fantastic opportunity for us to understand public sentiment towards the use of smart technology at home, while showcasing our products and services and addressing any queries. Many Older Adults came forth to share their personal stories with us, and expressed the relevance of Silverline as a solution which could significantly reduce the time required for assistance to arrive whenever accidents happen at home. Older Adults can put their mind at ease knowing that help is always just around the corner.

We are so proud of all the Older Adults who make it a point to keep abreast of all the latest technology that could improve their lives. Learning should never stop, and it is always never too late to start.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
