Silverline at the Completion of HDB Greenprint at Yuhua

With the completion of the Housing & Development Board Greenprint initiative at Yuhua, this 30 year old community is transformed into Singapore’s first green neighbourhood. The residents of Yuhua are the first to experience sustainable living in an existing public housing estate, with the implementation of green features. Plans are also underway to have residents be the first to experience smart living.

We were down at the Completion of Housing & Development Board Greenprint at Yuhua, which was attended by Advisor to Yuhua Grassroots Organisation, Ms Grace Fu. We met so many warm and friendly Older Adults and we would like to particularly highlight that these Older Adults we’ve met were really knowledgeable and ‘hip’. Most of them were familiar and receptive towards having smart technology installed in their homes, and some were even spotted wearing fitness trackers!

Smart technology is not just meant for the young, it’s for everyone. It always makes us smile knowing that Older Adults see the benefits of smart technology and are embracing it too.

We are looking forward to the exciting times ahead for this bright spark in Jurong!
