There are other stuff that can be done to lead a healthy life but what is important is to be conscious of what one has to do and just what one has to avoid to guide a healthy life.

Health is one thing you can really not have enough off, everybody wants to reside in health and yet many do not know that basics of keeping a proper life. There are a few steps you can take to improve your health and build up a greater defense mechanisms.

As a personal trainer a lot of time whenever using a new client must be spent bringing the body back to alignment. Poor posture has several effects on overall health including lower back pain, spinal dysfunction and joint degeneration.

It can seriously affect mobility. For instance, if the pelvis is not in correct alignment, this can limit hip mobility. Poor hip mobility is a very common reason for knee pain and injury.

Poor posture can cause the muscles to build up out of balance. Imbalanced muscles can cause joint dysfunction and injury. When the is in bad posture, exercise could be ineffective, recruiting the incorrect muscles, and putting the body at risk of injury.

Poor postural alignment is a common reason for tension, especially in the neck and shoulders. Forward head posture and/or excessive spinal curvatures may cause headaches.

Protracted shoulder girdle and general slumping may cause decreased lung capacity as space at the front of the is limited, putting undue pressure around the body’s organs. Other potential issues that could be brought on by bad posture is poor digestive health, hormonal imbalances, depression, and also the growth and development of fatty deposits in key areas.

How do we know whether your posture is true?

Viewed in the side, the perfect postural alignment should see ankle, knee, hip, shoulder and earlobe on the same vertical line. Viewed in the front, both sides from the body ought to be even, with hips, shoulders and eyes level. You should also only be able to see just the thumb and also the first finger of every hand.

Another simple test would be to stand together with your back from the wall, the heels just touching the wall. Place one hand at the back of the neck, and yet another against the small of the back. Shoulders, head & bottom really should connect with the wall. There should be sufficient room to wriggle a couple of fingers. Too much space, being able to slowly move the hand quite freely indicates that the posture is affected.
