In an ideal world, maybe, but even with only the aforementioned distractions I figure it would be difficult to be completely relaxed, strategic or methodical, never mind all three. Add in the rest of what we cannot control or predict in daily life and see much of this become impossible.

Of course, this doesn’t mean striving to have such an approach would move each of us toward something healthier — it would. But even setting a goal to be completely goal-oriented can set someone up for failure, and in turn away from the approach entirely.
