E-Sky Belt CP RC Helicopter
I got the E-Sky CP belt after having had my Lama for a while and having had the 400 blade best rc helicopter (which was not entirely mine) for a while as well. I felt arrogant after flying my Lama (another e-sky product that was just brilliant) and having registered something like 20 hours at Blade 400 I thought for the price this was too good to pass up! I had the 72mhz one. They have a new version of V2 like the one I show here in the photo.

When I got this it was pretty green with regard to my flying skills. I could make a flight forward but still really have some problems with floating and keeping it in one place. It comes RTF (ready to fly) with just a need for a battery charge and they are good to go. Mine was more suffocating and a little less delicate than the 400 blade to fly. The driver is preprogrammed and although you have some settings you quickly changed the Rx for a Spektrum one for my Dx6i. The gyro that came with mine was a little wonky and did not hold the tail, as well as the one that came with the Blade. I bought the hop-ups (metal head) that were for him and I do not see that much improvement over the plastic parts. I flew this one for about 6 months off and on, getting better at my skills. I did replace the gyro with a spinning Heli-Max celebration holder that helped the tail some. I have not flown a V2 and my experience with the V1 was not really that bad. For the price it is quite a package. But there is something “missing” that I can not put on my finger that makes it a little less polished or refined, maybe on an Align product.
If you are on a budget and want a 450-class heli already pre-assembled, this is not really a bad gig. The V2 has a new frame, new head, new design, new electronics and new gyro. It should be a little better than the v1 and it just looks cooler now. Check out the vid below for more information.
