Blog #1- The start of the beginning

As I am writing this I am currently in the planning stages of my 2018 season and it is looking to be a really good year for me. I have moved teams from Bath CC which I have been with the past 3 years and they have helped me develop as the rider that I am today and I am very grateful to them and always will be for the support they gave me, especially David Stoyle who without him, nothing would’ve happened. So I would like to personally thank him, he is a great guy. Alongside me moving teams I have also changed coach, Andy Wadsworth, my previous coach has helped me for the last year and I am also very grateful for him, without the long hours he put into me I wouldn’t have got the results I got last year without his support and help on and off the bike. So a special shoutout to Andy! I am now coached by Mark Dolan from Epic Coaching and I am looking forward to what this new era brings for me.

For 2018 I will be racing across the UK and abroad for Primera TeamJobs Junior Race Team. We have a team of 5 riders including myself, Tom Temple, Charlie Kelly, Elliot Cox and Charlie Walters. Over the winter we will be meeting up for team rides to get to know each other and to get to know how each of us ride so that we can establish peoples’ strengths and weaknesses and work on them. Primera Teamjobs have offered us free kit as well as a helmet and I am very grateful to them for this. Bill Temple (Tom’s Dad) has made this team up out of his own time and I am really looking forward to riding for him and to represent the teams colours nationally and abroad.

It’s currently mid-september so my winter training is about to get into full swing and am looking forward to my first race back next year already. I hope to be doing these blogs once every month or so when it comes into the racing season, depending on what is going on cycling wise but in the meantime, I will use this for announcements and also just to write about what I am up to for those that are interested. My next blog will be uploaded just after Christmas where I hope to see you guys then.

For the time being keep checking up on this website as I will be uploading pictures and other exciting things during the winter months.
