Thanks for the response Andrew. I absolutely agree WP has its uses and I was by no means trying to suggest that it doesn’t. In fact, I design and develop almost exclusively on WP daily for clients. However, I’ve never been convinced WP is a great place to write, but rather it’s strengths lay in its ability to adapt to your needs (like you said). The great thing about Medium is its singular focus. Too many products anymore try to focus on being everything at the same time and lose purpose. I honestly believe Medium is the best place on the web to share ideas and be able to create meaningful interaction with others. It’s kind of the “anti-social-media” and I hope they continue to innovate based on the concepts that have made them successful so far. Again, appreciate you taking the time to respond!
