Viaduct.io – A revolutionary application hosting platform

Today, after a lot of waiting, I finally got my beta invite for Viaduct.io.

Viaduct.io is the latest creation of Adam Cooke and the aTechMedia team, it offers a versatile and easy to use cloud hosting service where you can deploy a plethora of applications on different platforms, Ruby, Node.js, Python, PHP and many more.

The control panel and website is fantastic, and best of all it’s really easy to use – something that other services have not been in the past, leading me to dislike them over traditional hosting solutions (I mainly deploy PHP projects). Database deployment is really simple too, you can deploy MySQL, Postgres, Redis, MongoDB and more.

You can deploy application from external Git & Mercurial repositories, and soon you will even be able to deploy from zip files and FTP.

One of the nicest features it the ability to Host small applications completely free of charge and just pay for what you use each month, although with the beta you do receive a small account credit so you can get started straight away.

Anyway, if you are looking for a really easy to use cloud hosting platform, that has lightning fast performance then Viaduct.io is definitely worth a look!
