liner notes:

  • Professional: Yup still training. haha Delved more into the code and creating new components from scratch. This seemed to go smoother than before because I think I’m getting the hang of the program. Things are starting to click.
  • Personal: I decided to explore the city some more. So after work and a nap, I walked around the area. I made it to Georgia Tech’s campus (side note: I was accepted into Georgia Tech, but decided to go to UCF because I got a full paid scholarship). The campus looks totally different from what I remember the last time I visited. There’s a lot of construction going on. After that, I met up with my coworker and grabbed a bite to eat.

Last day! Got up a little earlier to make sure I get everything packed so I can check out and leave from training office straight to the airport.

From what I understand, there’s just a few more things to cover and wrap up the training. My instructor says we should be completed by lunch. He’s also going to show us some upcoming features.

There’s a couple of questions I have on the actual deployment of the project and how that works. Other than that, I think I have a pretty good handle on things. You never really know until you are working on something new and on your own. haha

I think this has been a very productive trip. I’ve learned a lot in a short amount of time. Looking forward to working more with the product.

Going to finish packing and get some breakfast before heading into the office.

Have a great day and weekend!

peace piece
